Altiplano is a plaid from the French brand Brun de Vian-Tiran made from 100% baby lama wool.
The camelids (camels or lamas) were left to us by the Incas and originate from the region of Lake Titicaca at an altitude of 4000 metres between Bolivia and Peru. The lama and the alpaca have been domesticated and are bred to serve as pack animal, for milk production, their meat, hide and wool. Alpaca is soft and ‘foamy’ and offers a wide variation of natural colours: there are twenty-two shades that have been carefully listed by the merchants in Arequipa: Wealth from the Inca legacy.
The weight is 300 gr/m2.
The fabric has been finished with a fringe on two sides.
It is a plaid in au naturel duotone colours.
