Cashgor is a blanket from the French brand Brun de Vian-Tira, made from 85% Kasjgora and 15% combed wool.
The cashgora goat is a cross between the cashmere goat and the mohair or angora goat. The first specimen of this crossbreed was bred at the beginning of the 19th century by engineer Antoine-Rémi Polonceau, for which he received the gold medal from the Sociëté Royale et Centrale d'Argriculture. Brun de Vian-Tiran was selected by the breeders association from New Zealand to manufacture the cashgora blanket.. The mohair provides the beautiful au naturel white colour and the softness of cashmere.
